iPointer® Client Architecture
 

The iPointer® Client library is available for .NET (Windows Mobile) and Java environments.  The iPointer® Client collects positional information from the handset (i.e., GPS position and Compass orientation), communicates with the iPointer® Server, and packages the search results for display.

The iPointer® Client easily embeds in a mobile application that is responsible for the actual application logic and user interface.  For example, the iPointer® Tour modules offered by iST all employ the iPointer® Client as a standard reusable component.
