GI-Science 2006 in Muenster, Germany, September 20 to 23

Portland, ME – August 18, 2006 – Intelligent Spatial Technologies Presents “Region-Based Pedestrian Navigation: Route Instructions Based on Topological Stages of Closeness”.

Markus Wuersch, Chief Technology Officer for Intelligent Spatial Technologies (iST), developers of the iPointer® pointing based search platform, will present at GI-Science 2006 in Muenster, Germany this September 20th through 23rd.  GI-Science is an international conference focusing on emerging topics and basic research findings across all sectors of geographic information science. Mr. Wuersch will present Region-Based Pedestrian Navigation: Route Instructions Based on Topological Stages of Closeness, a paper co-authored with David Caduff of University of Zurich in Switzerland. Mr. Wuersch’s presentation is scheduled for Saturday, September 23 as part of the “Wayfinding and Navigation” track.
